Description:
Rare low serial number gun 807 this gun had to be made in germany parts and assembled at southgate CA. 1951 cal. 300 weatherby magnum. It was a weatherby coustom made gun from bran new, it is a right handed, left EYE prominent EYE, the stock is curved in to line up your left eye on the scope. It has a gold nugget balance in the back stock , that says happy hunting Dad engraved on it. It has a johnson automatic compesator on the barrel. Hard to come by rare. It has a bear cub master scope , Kollmorgen optical corp. Brooklin NY stith mount sa tex. Military mount with adjusters witch are hard to come by. Then a german Jaeger trigger. This gun was and still is a mildly tricked gun. One of a kind the wood looks like montey carlo type wood. It has the strap brackets.the gun is super clean , as you can see in the pictures , it has the swing gate that opens when u put the bolt into it and it is tight like new. It is stamped chorme bore , and has the german stamp on the bolt. I would rate the gun at 95-96 percent. A true weatherby collectors piece.
