This Smith & Wesson Model K-38 Masterpiece Pre-Model 14 was made in 1951. It includes a letter from the S&W Historical Foundation giving background to the Model K-38 as well as a description of the pistol for sale and information about its original sale, including a copy of the original invoice from Smith & Wesson, dated August 8, 1951. Curio/Relic: Yes
Metal Condition: Very good. Bluing is worn on the edges and at the muzzle. Case coloring visible on the hammer.
Wood Condition: Checkered walnut grips are in good condition with no cracks. Some minor dings and slight depression of checkering on right grip panel
Bore Condition: Very good. Bore is shiny with great rifling.
