Description:
This is a far above average example of the 1st Model Warner Carbine. This example shows a true golden patina on the brass frame. The barrel shows a nice smooth patina finish. The markings on the frame are strong. The butt stock and forearm show a slight refinish and added coat of varnish sometime in their life. The cartouche is still visible on the left side of the wrist. The wrist of the stock shows two slight harlines, (see photo). There's a little bit of movement in the stock to frame fit, I will try to tighten the screws to see if that's changed and update the description after I find out if it does. Mechanically excellent. Its very difficult to find one of these with a nice frame and nice barrel. The stocks are also normally beat to hell and then some. This is a solid representation for your collection, you will not be disappointed with this one!
