Description:
This is a nice tight old Parker 16 gauge ejector gun, with two sets of factory barrels, 28" and 26"...The 28" barrels are choked mod and full. The 26" barrels are choked cyl and ic. 2 5/8" chambers with excellent bores. Barrels are stamped 1 and 2 on forend lugs and are correctly numbered to #1 frame...Straight grip stock length of pull is 14 1/4" with a 2 5/8" drop...Serial #144xxx, made circa 1907...Stock head has been reinforced with Ebony diamond inserts...This aint no closet queen, but it is a rare old hunting gun in fine shooting and collecting condition...
See my other listings for a 20 gauge Fox with similar ebony diamond inserts...According to consigner, these guns originally belonged to her great grand parents...They took them to Africa, at least once, before WW2...Wish these guns could talk...
