A beautiful German guild gun with a scalloped box lock, 3 bite action (recoil lug , side clips, and Greener bar) with cocking indicators stocked in Circassian walnut with fluid steel barrels on a coin finished receiver. Buttstock has been converted from a pistol grip to a straight grip. "Laufstahl means fluid steel, not damascus. Krupp is the steel mill that made the steel in the barrels, but they did not make the gun. A lot of high-end German guns are marked Krupp Laufstahl".
"Suhl was first mentioned in 1318 and stayed a small mining and metalworking town, until industrialization broke through in late 19th century and Suhl became the center of Germany's arm production, specialized in rifles and guns with companies such as Sauer & Sohn".
