We offer you a Remington Model 700 BDL Custom Deluxe “Sporter” rifle chambered in 22-250 that was made in 1978.
The “Sporter” weight barrels were not manufactured in high numbers as were the “Heavy Barrel” Varmint guns. This one wears a factory 24” barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues. The sights were removed when the scope was mounted and are no longer with the rifle. The bluing on the barrel, receiver and floor plate are all is excellent condition as shown. The Monte Carlo Deluxe ship-line checkered Walnut stock is solid with no chips or cracks but shows several marks and dings from use. It has the early 4-screw factory butt plate as these early guns should. On top is a Bushnell Banner 6-18X50mm scope with the adjustable objective. It is also in excellent condition with no issues. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “A6582721” / “Remington / MODEL 700”. The left side of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. ILION, NY MADE IN U.S.A. 22-250 REM”. The left side of the barrel is marked with the date code “AQ”, which tells us the rifle was manufactured in March of 1978. The bottom of the jeweled bolt is etched with the last four of the matching serial number “2721”. Overall this is a very nice and complete package that is ready to go.
This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL dealer for $60 with signature required. The rifle will be shipped in a new foam lined double wall cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
