Description:
These were modified from the 8x56 rimmed, with a new barrel of .323 bore- the extractor was modified to accomodate the rimless cartridge and the rifle used the standard german 8mm 5 round stripper clips inserted from the top. The bottom opening in the floorplate was covered. This rifle has matching bolt- receiver and barrel numbers and the stock number does not match- what the hell- it was "sporterized" anyway. Of course it is the straight pull bolt and was designed to work "smartly" so when so operated, the function was perfect and it shot quite well.
