Description:
Winchester pre war model 97 in 16 gauge. Built in 1940,this gun has a 30" barrel choked full. The gun is in excellent original condition. It retains 90% of the original blue and wood finish and has not been altered. The bore is bright and free of any rust,dents,or pits. The stock is sound with cracks or damage other than light handling marks. The stock retains the original Winchester buttplate.The action works smoothly and functions perfectly. This is an honest model 97 in a hard to find gauge. A great gun for pheasants or turkey hunting. Ready for another 81 years in the field. C&R eliglble.
