Matched pair percussion live pigeon guns made in 1869 and lettered by Boss just as they are, perfect brown Damascus barrels and numbered 1 and 2, St. James Street address on barrels, magnificent color case hardening, platinum breech plugs, in their original two tiered oak cases will all Boss label and accessories, engraving is crisp and sharp, straight grip metal butt plate, most of original blue on trigger guard and a bit on butt plate, screws and pins are perfect, guns have little or no use, highly figured original stocks that are in pristine condition with minor handling marks, 14 ¼” LOP, they function as new, possibly the finest percussion pair Boss has ever offered for sale.
