Description:
Savage model 1899A takedown rifle in 30-30. Built in 1910,this rifle has a 26" barrel with a mint bore. The rifle is in excellent original condition. It retains 95% of the original blue finish and 95% of the original wood finish. There are some light scratchs on the right side of the receiver. Otherwise the blue is bright and unmarked. The stock and forend are solid with no cracks or damage. The rifle is factory drilled and tapped for a tang peep sight. The action is smooth and funcitions perfectly. Very hard to find guns of this age in this condition. C&R eligible.
