Description:
Colt Police Positive Special Revolver .38 special caliber 4" barrel. Made in 1960, C&R shippable
Walnut checkered Colt medallion grips with some wear. Bore is bright with very good riflings and no pits or rust. Very nice both double and single action notched rear, blade front sights 85% blue remaining.
Serial number 764036.
A benefit of The Colt Police Positive Special is Colt's Positive Lock to prevent accidental discharge even if the lowered hammer is struck or the pistol is dropped, allowing the revolver to be safely carried with all six chambers loaded.
