General Robert E. Lee was a career soldier and a top graduate from the West Point US Military Academy
He was a distinguished soldier and is best known for leading the Confederate forces, although his reputation was such that before his state seceded, he had been offered command of the Union Army by President Lincoln. General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson during the first Battle of Manassas that earned him the nickname of "Stonewall".Both officers are celebrated in this collectors kit, which features a highly decorated non-firingV 1851 Navy percussion revolver
The wood grip is plain and unadorned, while the frame and barrel are highly engraved and rendered in simulated nickel and brass finishes.This is a non-firing replica!!
The pistol sits in a foam mold that features a rich, velvet-like finish and feel.Also the box set includes a cavalty insignia in a hardwood display box. The box includes a print of the Generals last meeting in Chancellorsville on May 1, 1863.
The pistol alone would make for a great showpiece, but when combined with the box and the insignias it is a great piece of history.
