Description:
This is a very nice Savage 99EG.  The stock and Schnabel forearm are checkered walnut with plastic grip cap and corrugated steel butt plate.  The 24” barrel and receiver are rich blue with nicest case hardening colors I have seen in the lever, integral front sight base, and Williams receiver sight.  This 99EG was manufactured in 1949, and the Model 99EG was discontinued in 1959-60.  It is the last Schnabel forearm produced until 1971, according to Royal’s book (Page 80).  Minor handling marks on the wood… one tiny scratch on the barrel as shown in the front sight picture.  See the pictures for condition.

Happy to talk, text or email any time.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks for looking!        2097305 OSK 9C
