Deluxe Checked XX Wood marked with same assembly number stamed on frame.This is a very Rare Carbine with a Ton of Original Finsih and of course chambered in the only cartiage offered at this time 44-40.Factory letter states Full Nickel however does not mention the wood grade nor checking which was common for this period. I removed the butt stock to show the factory stamping on the frame which indicates the assembly number 40 as well as the grade XX . While not in Mint condition It Certainly Warrants having a place within a advanced 1873 Collection.
