Nice example that shows fine even lightly aged blue on the barrel. Mag tube blue is also even and starting to mix a little plum from age. Original buckhorn rear sight with elevator bar intact mated with the original Rocky Mountain blade front sight. Excellent barrel markings and upper tang markings. The receiver is an uncleaned very mottled gray/brown with some light case color. Some case color remains on the upper portion of the lever. Butt stock and forearm generally excellent with some finish wear only and a little handling wear to the forearm. Tight action and hammer spring with secure half cock. Bore is a little dark with deep rifling all the way through- a good scrubbing with a brush or J-B Bore Paste would help. An early 1894 in fine condition. Nice appearance.
