Beautiful little gun made in 1941 which started life as a Field Grade gun and has been skillfully upgraded to a Skeet Special Grade. This gun made with 28" barrels, double triggers, and straight grip buttstock. The gun has auto ejectors, and auto safety. Proper beavertail forend and straight grip buttstock with well done factory looking checkered butt.
The quality of the engraving on this gun is excellent and could fool even an well trained eye, though the gun is indeed an upgrade. The stocks are well done replacements in factory type pattern. A true 410ga Skeet Special is basically impossible to source and for many of us, we will never own one. This gun is a true to life excellent example of what one would look like.
This gun remains in "as new" condition since being upgraded to Skeet Special Grade. The gun is as tight as new, bores are brilliant and shiny, and mechanics are crisp. The gun appears unfired since being upgraded.
