Winchester Model 61 Pump Action Rifle in .22 S-L-LR. SN #72239. Mfg. in 1947. LOP 13 3/8". 24" Barrel with a VERY GOOD Bright Bore with GOOD Rifling. Both the Blued Metal and Walnut Pistol Grip Stock and Forend have been nicely REFINISHED. The Model 61 was Winchester's First Hammerless Slide Action Rifle. All Model 61's are Takedown Models. Open sights with a fixed wedge style front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. Tube magazine capacity is 20- shorts, 17- longs and 14 long rifle cartridges.
