*** SOLD *** SOLD *** Hard to find and very rarely seen is this "heavy barreled" Savage 10ML-II smokeless powder muzzleloader (serial # M039083) with the stainless steel action and 24" barrel, Accu-Trigger, modern breech plug using 3/8" socket to remove, hang tag, owner's manual and fiber optic sights, remaining in "new and unfired" condition with factory box. Very few of these early 10MLs were made with heavier barrel diameter. The quickest way to tell one of these from the later lighter barreled guns is to look at the barrel locking nut. You can see that the taper in front of the nut is shorter, due to the thicker barrel, than the later produced barrels. The Savage muzzleloaders are capable of firing black powder, black powder substitutes, powder or pellets, and for increased range and knock down power, the use of smokeless powder. I'll include a small list, provided by Savage, on powder & bullet choices. Buy this muzzleloader now in preperation for the upcoming hunting seasons.
