Description: Welcome! This listing features a Remington Model 878 Automaster 12Ga. Semi-Auto Shotgun. The Remington Model 878 was made from 1959 to 1963, and was based on the previously introduced model 58. Both were succeeded by the Model 1100. It introduced an improved "self-adjusting" gas system compared to the Model 58. The 878 is essentially a gas operated version of the pump action Model 870.
