Description:
Serial #949, .45-70 Gov’t., 24" barrels with excellent, bright bores. This is a faithful reproduction of the Colt Double Rifle, and features browned barrels with a ramped, brass bead front sight, three-leaf rear sight, fully color case-hardened frame and hammers, checkered splinter forend, and rounded pistol-grip buttstock with continental cheek-piece. The stock has a 14 7/8" LOP to a red rubber recoil pad, and has drops of 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" respectively. The rifle is in excellent, nearly unused condition, and is housed in the original shipping box with a leather sling. These rifles are regulated for the 405 grain bullet, at a distance of 100 yards, and are a high quality, European-made double rifle, chambered in a legendary American cartridge. FFL
