Description:
Beretta SO4 Trap in 12 gauge made in 1978 (AD Date Code). This gun has 29 1/4" Bohler Steel Barrels (nominal 30"). Bottom barrel measures .726 with 18/1000 choke (Tight Mod). Top barrel is .727 with 40/1000 choke (Full). Monte Carlo Stock with Tucci Mario Adjustable Comb. Tucci Mario is a gunsmith and sporting arms shop in Brescia, Itlay. The comb hardware is 4 way adjustable in the Perazzi style. Excellent craftsmanship. Wood is well figured and has an extended pistol grip along with a right hand palm swell. Stock has down pitch and cast off. LOP is 14 5/8". Drop at Comb in the lowest position is 1 1/4". Drop at back of Monte Carlo is 1 3/8", while drop at heel is 2 1/16". Olympic Medallion in the grip cap. No cracks to wood. Stock does have some thinning finish in places and could ultimately benefit from a refinishing. Locks are the 5 pin / 4 pin style. Gun is tight on face. No loose ribs. Gun comes with a "correct" SO style case. Case is missing a couple of the little brass feet. I recently tested the gun on the international trap and it functioned flawlessly with excellent trigger pulls. Barrel weight is 1520. Overall weight of the gun is 8 LBS 3 1/2 OZ. Shipping is $100.
