"Serial number 166090. Made in 1897. 44 S&W Russian caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. Nice sharp gun with original blue finish that is toning to a even brown patina. Grips are very good and show normal handling wear. This gun comes with a factory letter. The letter confirms the caliber (but omits the Russian) and the barrel length. The letter states this is a flattop, but this gun is clearly a standard frame. Obviously the person recording this gun was distracted. Very interesting gun in an extremely rare caliber!
