Pre-WWI U.S. service rifle manufactured in 1906 by Springfield Armory. Rifle has been arsenal refurbished for WWII and has a barrel that dates 1944. Bore has strong rifling with pitting. Stock has two arsenal cartouches. This rifle is in the single heat treat serial number range(This gun is sold as a collectible and is not safe to shoot.) Comes with a sling. Overall condition is very good.
