Special order carbine with 2/3rds magazine tube. Manufactured in 1918. Barrel is 20"". Bore has strong rifling with some minor frosting. Rear sight is a later replacement. Factory Winchester butt plate is not chipped or cracked. Forearm has a repaired crack; there is also a repaired chip by receiver tang. Good overall condition. Reasonably priced.
