This beautiful National Arms Co. single shot No. 2 41 rimfire caliber derringer features the rare 2"" barrel and has a gold-washed brass frame. This early gun, serial number, 563, has an excellent smooth bore. The barrel has approx. 97% of its bright blue finish. It is marked NATIONAL ARMS Co on the top rib and PAT FEB 24 1865 on the bottom with the serial number toward the chamber. The barrel has light scroll engraving on the sides at the breech. The scroll engraved frame retains approx. 92% of its gold wash. The action functions correctly. You won't find one better than this one!
