This rifle is in remarkable all original condition. It retains 100% of the original blue and 99% of the original wood finish. The walnut stock and forend are hand checkered and show very little wear. The receiver has the "waffle top" matting and has never been drilled for a scope. The 24" barrel has a mint bore. The rifle has deluxe detachable sling swivels and comes with a period correct leather sling. The caliber is 30-30 Win. Marked JM on the barrel.  The deluxe models like this were low production items and are very hard to find in this condition. This is a classic American deer rifle for the collector, or the hunter who enjoys hunting the old fashioned way.
