Description:
SOLD A wonderfull SA Hopkins and Allen revolver with a serial #6298, 38 S&W, 5” long octagon barrel with a mostly bright very good bore showing some scattered mild oxidation and strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces retain about 80% original nickel finish showing fine flaking to gray and oxidation staining mostly along the right side and cylinder. There are some scratches along the frame and dings around the pins on the left side. The hammer shows faded remnants of case-hardened colors and there is a small void through the frame on the right side loading lever cutout. The black checkered hard rubber grips remain in very fine condition showing some scattered light handling marks. The revolver is equipped with a factory lanyard ring and the action hammer will pull back and lock, with the cylinder advances, and sometimes over-times, as the cylinder stop is low. Overall a scarce gun. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
