Correct "P" and "L" stamps under barrel on on rear cylinder face
Correct "L" stamp on bottom of frame cylinder cut
"US" stamp on front of butt
Left grip inspector cartouche is JFEC
Round extractor shaft
Cylinder serial number matches
Screw heads are very good
Hammer retains very good case coloring
Bore is very good with nice positive lands and some minor pitting
Excellent mechanical condition
"332" stamped behind hammer indicates issue to San Francisco Committee of Safety
These were issued to assist in putting down the Sandlot Riots of 1877-1878(Charles Pate's article "The San Francisco S&W Schofield Revolver)
