SOLD. Weatherby Mark 5 Deluxe in 270 Weatherby Magnum. Exceptional wood and the older model with skip line checkering! 26 inch barrel (why have a magnum with a 24 inch barrel)? The 270 Weatherby Magnum propels a 110 grain bullet at over 3600 F.P.S. that is faster than the 257 Weatherby Magnum in 100 or 110 grian bullet. Its vellocith is faster than the 300 Weatherby Magnum in the 130 grain ( the smallect bullet Weatherby Ammo in the 300) all be it a heavier bullet but with less recoil. The bluing is excellent with no ware. The Weatherby filler screws are in the receiver and the bolt face looks unfired. The boar looks unfired but I beleive i can see where a scope base once was. The wood is exceptional but does have a dent and a finish scratch on the cheeck peice both noticibal but hard to photograph (see picture 3) . LOTS OF REFLECTIVE GLARE IN MY PICTURES.SORRY.
