It is FLAT MINT and UNFIRED since leaving the factory, and comes complete with it's original box, paperwork, and cleaning tools.  Bought new by the original owner sometime between 1991 and 1994, this Glock 17 has spent the last 27 to 30 years in a safe.  It is truly a time-capsule type gun.  The Model 17 Glock was first imported into the States in late 1985 to great fanfare as really the first "plastic" gun that was extremely reliable and tough.  By 1987 it won the "Best in Market" award from the American Firearms Industry, one of the first of many awards the Glock would accumulate.  The Glock 17 would go on to widespread adoption by law enforcement agencies all over the U.S. and world as the years passed, and would become one of the most successful polymer-framed pistol designs of all-time.  This particular example is a "Gen 2" Glock 17, the first revision of the original Model 17.  As mentioned before, this G17 is for all intents and purposes brand-new! The factory black parkerized finish on the slide rates 99.9%, with no visible wear, scratches, dings, or damage of any sort.  The factory black finish on the barrel is also like-new and pristine, with zero visible wear on the exposed chamber area or barrel (this is first spot that will show wear when the gun is fired).  All of the factory markings are crisp and clean, and all of the numbered parts are matching including the frame, barrel, and slide.  The polymer frame of this Model 17 is also flawless and pristine, with zero scratches, scrapes, dings, dents, or visible wear.  The factory texturing is perfect, as-is the checkering on the front and rear grip strap.  The trigger, mag release, slide-stop, and take-down ears on this G17 all look brand-new and show no wear or damage.  The embedded metal serial number plate on the underside of the frame is spotless, and the factory sights are in perfect condition.  The action on this Glock is slick but tight, as it has not even begun to be broken-in yet.  The frame to slide fitment is perfect, and the 5 pound factory trigger breaks crisply and clean after the normal take-up.  As mentioned before, this Glock comes complete with everything it shipped from the factory with, however the serial-numbered end-label on the tupperware box lists 2 10-round magazines while this pistol has two 17-round PRE-BAN factory magazines with it.  Both of the 17 round magazines are early-production pre-ban magazines with the U-notch shaped cut-out behind the feed-lips on the spine and the 4 dimples running down each side of the body.  They both also have a "U" hot-stamped on the rear just above the bottom of the magazine (unknown what this means).  These pre-ban U-notch 17-round magazines are bringing $75 to a little over $100 each today on the collector's market.  The original tupperware box is in like-new condition with no damage or warping, and all of the original factory-applied stickers are still in place on it, including the end-label and the 1987 "Best In The Market" Award sticker.  All of the paperwork is still in the original white packet and is in pristine condition, including the warranty card which was never filled out.  The factory-supplied magazine loader, polymer cleaning rod, and nylon brush are also still in the box and in pristine condition as well.  If you have been looking for an absolutely pristine and perfect Gen 2 Glock 17 for your collection here is your chance to get the best one we have had since they were new.  It would be flat-out impossible to upgrade from this example in ANY respect!              SOLD Handgun Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger, 9x19mm NATO) Manufacturer: Glock (Austria) Model: Model 17 Gen 2 Serial Number: BHR258US Condition: Mint Metal Condition: Mint Bore Condition: Mint Action: Semi-Auto Finish: Black Parkerized Sights: Standard Manufacture Date: 1991-1994 Extras: Original Tupperware Box, Extra Mag, Owner's Manual, Warranty Card, Cleaning Rod, Brush, Mag Loader, Etc.
