Description:
Absolutely stunning 1893. All original finishes on wood and metal. Case hardening on receiver is beautiful. Hardly a mark on the wood (a couple few minor handling works for a gun this age) There are a few minor marks on the carbine barrel and the rifle barrel is 98%+. Original buttplate and sights. Nothing has been altered on this piece since Marlin shipped it. The barrels are half round half octagon. Both barrels are 30-30 winchester caliber marked "special is smokeless steel". This is a unique and special fined for 1893 is this condition. A fabulous addition to the serious Marlin collector. The bores on both rifle and carbine barrels are bright and shiny as a "new" rifle.
