This 41 rimfire caliber Moore's Patent derringer has a silver plated frame and barrel. Approx. 75% of the silver remains with wear on the high spots. There is decorative scroll engraving on the frame and breech of the barrel. The rifled bore is fine with good rifling and a little roughness at the chamber. The top of the barrel marked MOORE S PAT. F.A. CO. BROOKLYN N.Y. is basically unreadable. The bottom has PAT FEB 24 1863 with the serial number, 1711, at the rear. The action functions correctly. This is a nice Moore deringer.
