This 41 rimfire caliber Moore's Patent deringer has a silver plated frame and blued barrel. Approx. 70% of the silver remains with wear on the high spots. There is decorative scroll engraving on the frame and breech of the barrel. The barrel has approx. 50% blue turning brown. The rifled bore is very good with good rifling and light wear. The top of the barrel marked MOORE S PAT. F.A. CO. BROOKLYN N.Y.. The bottom has PAT FEB 24 1863 with the serial number, 4553, at the rear. The action functions correctly. This is a nice blued barrel Moore deringer.
