Description:
Winchester mode 97 16 gauge built in 1940. This gun has a 30" barrel choked full. The gun is in excellent original condition retaining 90% of the original blue and wood finish. The action is smooth and works perfectly. The bore is bright and free of rust,dents,or pits. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage other than a few very light handling marks. 16 gauge model 97s are hard to find in good condition. This one is nice enough to collect, but not too nice to enjoy and shoot. It would make a great pheasant or turkey gun. C&R eligible.
