Description:
Savage model 99EG in 300 Savage built in 1954. This rifle has a 24" barre with a mint bore. Other features include: factory drilled and tapped for scope mounts, hand checkered walnut stock and forend, lever safety, steel buttplate, jeweled bolt, and case colored lever. The rifle retains 95% of the original blue and wood finish. The sling swivels have been added. Otherwise the rifle is in original condition. The wood is solid with no cracks or damage. The rifle has a Bushnell scopechief 3x9 scope installed. The scope has an unsual reticle that has standard crosshairs with an optional pop up European style post. This is a great 99 for the deer woods. Light and easy handling in a classic caliber. C&R eligible.
