Description:
Colt SAA single action artillery. An example of a well used working man’s cowboy gun. Frame is made 1874. The barrel has the early italic barrel address with military inspector marks and has been shortened to 4 3/4. It has the early two lug barrel for ejector housing with enough threads remaining to hold the ejector housing on. Bore is s typical old black powder bore. Grips look older and show wear but not original.
Action is good with all clicks. This gun is not a collectors dream or a shooter. It’s an example of an old cowboy gun that has put in its service at an affordable price. Very neat piece of western history. Comes with very neat old holster rig. Well worn but part of this guns history. Old and worn but a great display.
