Here we present an antique Remington Type II Deringer with a production run from 1888 to 1911. The Double Deringer was made by Remington from 1865-1935—a testament to the design as well as Americans’ desire to carry a concealed weapon. The Deringer was sturdily built and simple in operation. A lever on the right side of the frame swings so that the barrels may open upward on a hinge for loading and unloading. There is a single firing pin that moves from one barrel to another with each cock.
This deringer is inside a very cool Vintage Gambling Set! The gambling set includes red, white and blue chips, an American Steamboats brand deck of cards, a tiny portable roulette, and lots.
The overall condition is good. The action is strong. The bores are good. The grips are solid. Here is a stunning gambling set with a Remington Deringer as the “Ace in the hole!”
