Description:
Colt 1911 Commercial, 45acp, nice original gun, correct grips, two tone mag, shows little use . Built in1923 and shipped to the Superintendant of the Pennsylvania State Arsenal, has a rack number of A12 stamped near the serial number. Per the William Goddard book it also notes Selected and Targeted. The barrels only marking is M.B. inside of a circle on the bottom of the barrel in front of the lug. This is a bit of an odd ball , six pistols in this serial range were also shipped at the same time (May 18 1923) , would love to hear from anyone who has one of the others.
