Winchester Model 12. SN Y2005108 Up for sale is a very clean Winchester Model 12 Trap. This fine shotgun is all factory original with excellent figure in the monte carlo style stock and deep rich blue finish on the receiver and vent rib barrel. The 30" barrel is choked full and remains all factory original dimensions. LOP is 14 1/2" DAC is 1 3/8" and DAH (rear of comb) is 1 7/8". Please notice on the second picture the hand cut checkering on the grip and forearm. This is a good indication of pre-72 Y model production. The 1968 Gun Control Act mandated that a letter be added to the serial numers of guns produced and this was the start of the Y serial numbers. This gun probably came out of the custom shop before Model 12 production was ramped up in 1972. No Calif. sales please.
