Description:
For sale is a Enfield Martini Henry Rifle converted to 303 at a British arsenal. This piece has a lot of history and character. The rifle was converted to 303 in 1895 and is so marked. The rifle is well marked with no signs of this rifle being imported. The barrel which was replaced has some pitting on the top of the barrel just forward of the receiver. There is also some heavy pitting in spots between the barrel and the wood forearm. The action is tight and works as it should. The bore appears to be in very nice condition. The stock has its share of dents, scratches and normal damage for its age. There was some minor repairs to the stock, which is solid. The ramrod is a reproduction. This is an antique firearm that was produced before 1898. Please refer to pictures for further detail. All sales on used firearms are final.
