Merkel 12 Gauge 203E Sidelock Ejector Over and Under shotgun with custom hard case. 26 7/8 inch barrels, choked. German Suhl Nitro, 12. Serial number 54068, manufactured circa March 1961. Drop to Heel measures 7 1/2 inches. LOP (length of pull) measures 14 3/4 inches. Action and locks heavily engraved with fine foliate scroll engraving. Tight fitting open-close action with no wear. Excellent bright bores. Beautiful grain walnut in oil finish with finely checkered pistol grip and fore-end . Walnut fore-end shows some very light minor handling marks on side that is hardly noticeable. Blued trigger guard. Some bluing worn under pistol grip (behind trigger guard). Duel triggers, some bluing worn. Minor bluing worn at muzzle. Hard rubber butt plate, has some minor handling marks. Been used very little. Condition is Excellent 95% - 97%+. Photos confirm condition. Custom hardcase outer vinyl has a couple minor scuffs but in very good+ to excellent condition.
