Weatherby Mark V 7mm STW, fluted barrel, extremely accurate, the only gun that i have ever shot 2 rounds at 300 yards touching in the field, a friend offer me $100 to make a third shot, I refused, i did not want to take the chance not being able to repeat a third shot, now i have bragging rights. If you are not familiar with this round if you used ELDX ammo, it has more engergy than 300 win mag past 500 yards and much better ballistics, and less kick. Total shots made by the gun less than 40. It has 1958 ft/lb of engergy at 500 yards, that make it a 700 yard elk gun or 1000 yard dear gun. Only 33.8 inch of drop at 500 yards.
No scope, i decided to put it on a different gun. And lowered the gun price from 2150 to 1350. I will look to see if i have ammo for the gun.
