WWII German Mauser S/42 Luger 1936 date with holster
Top of toggle is stamped with Mauser code S/42 and top of chamber is stamped with the date 1936.
Mauser factory was in their overall third year production, but first year in production to use the full date in lieu of the code date markings. Right side of the reciever is stamped with the 'eagle' 63 Waffenamt proofs and a single eagle firing proof.
The straw parts appear to have been brushed at some point in time. Some parts appear to be brushed/touched up. Grips have seen honest wear. See photos for condition.
P.08 holster has WaA195 with nazi marking above. Note there are initials and phone number grooved into the front flap. See photos for condition.
