Description:
This 1924 Buffalo Newton Rifle is a beautiful rifle throughout. This was the last model of rifle that Charles Newton had in production beginning in 1924, with roughly 1000 of this model were ever produced. It features a controlled round feed Mauser style action, sling swivels, dogleg bolt lever, an opposed double set trigger, and is a takedown which is done by unscrewing the floor plate. Scope is a period correct single post tube scope with the only visible marking being "2218." Original steel buttplate was replaced with a Pachmayr vented rubber recoil pad, but was well fitted and appears professionally done. This rifle shows very little use and excellent care was taken of it. .30 Newton
