UPDATE 8/14/2021 - I added a Nikon Prostaff P3 3-9x40 BDC Scope (a $200 value) to this rifle at no extra cost to the buyer. It is now "range and field ready" (but not sighted in). This is a scarce, early Ruger "Flat Bolt" M77 bolt action rifle in the desirable 6mm Remington caliber, serial number 70-10470, made in 1969, with the other early features of the Ruger logo red rubber butt pad, single line barrel marking lacking the idiot warning/disclaimer, 22" round barrel, checkered walnut stock, factory scope rings, blued finish, hinged floor plate, bolt release on left side of receiver, and top tang safe/fire safety. CONDITION: Barrel is 85% thinning original blue. Receiver and floor plate are 90% original blue with one good scratch on the floor plate. Solid stocks with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, sharp/original checkering, factory sling swivel studs intact, multiple nicks/dings from hunting and carry use (in fact, I would guess this rifle spent some time out West as one side of the stock has markings indicative of spurs, similar to what I've seen on several Civil and Indian War era Cavalry carbines), correct factory scope rings, correct factory red rubber butt pad, excellent action, properly working bolt release and tang safety, mint bore. Will make a good collector as well as hunter/shooter. TERMS: Hawaii and Alaska buyers please contact me for a shipping quote, otherwise shipping to the Continental US States will be FREE. No international sales. We do ship to California! Must ship to FFL or C&R license holder. Sales to residents of New York State require an FFL only, no exceptions. Please know what is legal for your state. 3 day non-firing inspection. Buyer pays return shipping. Payment by bank check, personal check or money order. All major credit cards accepted with 4% convenience fee added. Ships by UPS Ground with tracking.
