Description:
‘12B’ take-down slide action gallery rifle chambered in .22 Short. Octagonal barrel, nickle receiver and butt plate. This was a field gun use by original owner father for small game and is un-restored. Matching serial numbers, 99354, as stamped on receiver bottom and inside on trigger block. It has the 24” octagon barrel with a Marbles peep sight and Sheard front sight. This rifle has no date codes on the barrel, so it most probably is a pre-1921, which was the year Remington began to mark the date codes on the barrel. Barrel muzzle fitted for an accessory (lost over the years).
