Description:
This is a first year production Series 1 with a hard to find 5-inch barrel. Generous blue in protected areas. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. The bore is very good, shiny with strong rifling and only a tiny trace of minor corrosion. The serial numbers are all matching including the wedge. The cylinder has about 92% cylinder scene. There is a premium on these Manhattan revolvers with 5 and 6 inch barrels. The grips retain over 88% original varnish. This is a first year production revolver and is nice and hard to come by. SN 452.
