It is a 2nd-Issue Naval Luger Pistol and is unit-marked! This pistol is all-matching with the correct wood base magazine, which is un-numbered. These pistols started life as commercial guns before they were later sold to the Imperial Navy. The bore in this example is mint. The rust-blue finish on this pistol is much nicer than you ever see and this is a visually stunning piece. Due to the harsh marine environment these pistols were in, they will often be very rough looking, but this example really pops. When it comes to collecting pistols of all kinds, Lugers have always been near the top. Imperial German Navy Lugers were considered by many to be the ultimate expression of the Luger Pistol. In the aristocracy of collecting, they have been up there on top of the heap and this pistol will definitely put you in that rarefied air. Hand guns must travel via Air, whilst long guns and other items can go via Ground. Non-firearm accessories, such as magazines, can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at the customer's request.
