I don't believe I have seen another Union Pacific marked Henry Rifle. This is marked on the front of the receiver in quite tall letters "U.P.R.R.". Most likely to protect workers on the Trans-Continental Railroad. It is a 2nd model rifle with a sharp bright bore. All matching numbers. Correct sights. Receiver has sharp corners and a pale yellow color. Original stock. Correct sling swivels. Brass buttplate. Wood is in generally good condition with handling mars and dings and an age crack coming off the receiver. Traces of blue on the barrel with the balance having turned a plum/brown patina with strong traces of bright original blue around and under rear sight. There has been some cleaning but still retains sharp corners and good markings. An all around good looking Henry!
