Description:
Serial number 1575 fewer than 1200 of these pistols were made under special orders until parts ran out in 1991. The barrel has been replaced with one made by LAR MFG. and modified, poorly, by an unknown "gunsmith". Thankfully the upper barrel tang was only for accuracy and is not a safety hazard. The Model A differs from the later Model B in it's pivoting link to lock and unlock the barrel, while the Model B uses a linkless system. Barrels and spare parts are generally unavailable for the Model A based on its semi-custom nature, but many standard parts such as grips and magazines are interchangeable albeit expensive. .357 Magnum
